Lead Teaching Pastor

David and his wife Bonnie have faithfully served Open Door since 1980. They have four children and seven grandchildren. Dave is the regular teaching pastor on the weekends and also serves on the Governing Board of Elders.

Worship Pastor • MINISTRY AREA PASTOR

Joel served on staff from 2004-2007 and rejoined the staff in August, 2008. He is the worship pastor, offering his creative and musical talents to help lead us into worship during the weekend services.

Care Pastor • MINISTRY AREA PASTOR

Bob began attending Open Door in 1982 and joined the staff in July 1993. He develops and manages Care ministry, including funerals, counseling issues, support groups, visitation, grief support, prayer ministries and benevolence.

Pastor of Formational Life • MINISTRY AREA PASTOR

Anne-Marie joined staff in 2015 to help develop and oversee The Center for Spiritual Formation, a ministry which offers retreats and resources that nurture a deepening life in God.

Pastor of Next Generation • MINISTRY AREA PASTOR

Sara joined the team in October 2010 to oversee an amazing team of staff and volunteers whose purpose it is to inspire over 500 infants through 6th graders to become fully alive in God.

Pastor of Community Life • MINISTRY AREA PASTOR

Al started at Open Door in January 1995 and as has a passion for helping people with similar interests and stages of life get connected to each other and grow in their faith. He oversees the Community Life team and volunteers.

Pastor of Missional Life • MINISTRY AREA PASTOR

Tom is returning to Open Door where he served for 16 years. Along with his wife Debbie he will continue to lead GoodSports Int. Slovakia where they’ve ministered for the past 11 years. His passion is to listen, discover and follow.

Business Manager •

Victoria joined staff in March of 2007. Serving as the Business Manager, she and her dedicated team oversee all operational functions for Open Door.

Since Steve came to Open Door in 1989, he has served in many ways. He has helped with video production, served with Kids, Next Generation, Financial Peace University, couples groups, community groups, Service Learning and missions.

Dave began his journey here at Open Door in 2002 and has served in many different areas: Next Gen, Bookstore team, Open Door 101, local missions, and Kid’s ministry. Dave’s desire is to fulfill God’s calling on his life and press into the unique roles He puts him in.

Secretary • GOVERNING BOARD OF ELDERS

Rich and the other elders lead and serve the church by listening for the direction of God and by leading the church in that direction through prayer, policy development, staff and laity empowerment, and by example.

Since he began attending Open Door in the 80s, Wayne has chaired the missions board, volunteered with the youth and has preached at weekend services. As a leader, a particularly meaningful verse for him is John 10:10.

Nancy came to Open Door in October, 1991. Several months later she made a personal commitment to Christ and was baptized that June. She has served in many ways, including missions, prayer, care, communion and women’s groups.

Ben began attending Open Door in 2006. Ben has been involved at Open Door in a variety of ministries that have included mentoring with the Next Gen program, providing care and support through the Adult Care Ministry Team, serving on the Next Steps Welcome Kiosk Table, and volunteering within Kid’s Ministry.
