Next Generation

As a people following Jesus, we are pursuing the life of God and tending to the shalom of others, ourselves and the world. Our desire is that sstudents will experience what it means to be a part of a Godly community, who love and care for each other, support each other while we learn together, grow together and turn our faces outward together.

6th-12th Grade

On Wednesday nights, our students will engage in a variety of fun activities, Biblical teaching, worship time and small group discussions. Students will meet in teams with a volunteer team leader and 5-7 other students in either High School or Middle School groups. 2017-18 Next Generation Youth Curriculum (PDF)

Service Environments are on the first Wednesday of the month starting in November. Students rotate between over thirty organizations and spend their time serving. Drivers take groups to the service site and bring them back to Open Door. Service Environment Site Overview (PDF)

Throughout the year, we will also offer many retreats, activities and mission opportunities. Events are a great way to meet and get to know other students in our community.

Waiver and Release Forms are needed for all students involved in Next Gen programs or activities. Once submitted, the forms are valid for three years but can be updated when insurance plans change. Contact: Lynn | ext 1200
