The Jr. High Guy

My name is Duane Litz Jr. and I am the Middle School pastor at Granada. It has been an honor for me to serve alongside the middle schoolers at our church for the past 10 years. It is my passion to walk through life with students and introduce their joyful and painful circumstances to Jesus.

I have been working as a paid staff member at Granada for 7 years, although I have been involved in the middle school ministry since March 2002. I received my B.A. in Christian Education from Biola University in 2005 and my M.Div. from Talbot School of Theology in 2012.

My favorite hobbies include reading God's Word, playing guitar, hanging out with my best friend Jason, collecting comic books, watching movies with friends (mystery films are my favorite!), and indulging in USC Trojan football!

My experience at Granada has been awesome; thus far, I have received the honor of being taught by my boss, Zoro, and mentored by our teaching elder, Ed Morsey.
