Change For A Dollar
Change for a dollar. Sounds like something you’d ask for at a gas station so you could make a phone call or buy a newspaper. This time it is something totally different. The elders are putting forward a new opportunity for our church to change our community in the name of Jesus for just one dollar a week. The idea is simple. If everyone in the church will contribute one extra dollar a week we will be able to infuse literally thousands of dollars into our community through some very innovative and exciting projects. The real point though, is we will have the chance to share the gospel with everyone we live around through the doors that will be opened as we simply love the people we live around. There is a team of 6 couples that are spearheading this effort for the church. They already have some outstanding ideas of how to best use this money. Each month we will give you an update on all that has been happening. Would you plan to join us starting the first week of June by simply giving one dollar a week to change the world we live in. It’s going to be fun to see what all we can accomplish and even more enjoyable to see what God does with the project.
