We want your student to have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, and a life filled with joy and confidence. By enrolling your student in Confirmation instruction, you are expressing your desire for this as well.

Parental interest and engagement is critical to the spiritual growth and personal well-being of your student. Perhaps you have heard it emphasized before: Youth and Student Ministries at Lord of Life are in partnership with you. You are the primary source of encouragement and inspiration for your student(s). It is well-known that family dynamics and parental participation influence student growth and commitment.

As you consider the Confirmation (KIC – Kids In Confirmation) program at Lord of Life, we ask that you reflect upon how you could show your student that his/her Christian education is important. Please review the partnership opportunities below.

Check one or more opportunities that are of interest to you, please. The only way this program operates well, and at such a discounted fee, is through parent/guardian participation. How can you help?

Small Group Guide: Lead a small group of 7, 8, or 9 grade students weekly. Attend youth ministry training if/when offered. Participate with any service projects.

Small Group Assistant: Support the leadership of a weekly small group. Participate positively in a small group. This is an excellent way for recently confirmed and young adults to be involved.

Technical Support: Run lighting, sound, and/or video on Wednesday evenings (September - May)

Prayer Team: Join with others to pray regularly for young people and youth/young adult ministries.

Creative Team: Help develop our drama, dance, and other creative endeavors.

Event organizer or chaperone: Help with one-time events (like social or service projects, or overnights)
