About Us

Who We Are

On March 19, 1961 an oasis sprang forth from the deserts of Mesa, Arizona, and St. Luke Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod was born.

A handful of committed Lutheran Christians formed a mission congregation, and the church grew from its humble beginnings into a thriving congregation. This has always been a congregation full of life and activity in the community.

Today St. Luke's draws on its rich history of serving families, youth, and senior adults. In this changing community, we are willing to ask tough questions such as how do we continue to serve and at the same time be sensitive to our surrounding culture. Our exciting mission work is both international as well as local. New ministry opportunities are being developed regularly that engage people in our community.

Our future looks bright! With vigor we stand committed to mission and ministry. We seek God's Will in all we try, expressing gratitude for what God has already established at St. Luke while always striving to continue sharing His Gospel.
