Our website is constantly updated to stay current, and The MetLink is a weekly email publication that connects congregants to all the latet news and key pages on our website. If you have an announcement of a church activity, program or ministry, please submit the information in writing to Lee Bowman. Be sure to inlcude the person who is the point of contact and their contact information for publication.

Dedicating Sunday Flowers

On the Bulletin Board in the Social Hall you will find a sign-up list for dedicating Sunday flowers for the whole year! Just pick a Sunday that you would like to dedicate the altar flowers in honor or memory of a loved one or occasion, and sign up with your name and contact information, and Administrator Lee Bowman will be in touch with you the week before. You may bring appropriate flowers in a vase or we can order them from our friends at Florabella in University Heights. The minimum order is $60. $75 brings a very nice, larger arrangement. $100 provides a large one. And you get to keep and take the flowers with you following the 11 AM service. Reserve the date you want now!

Recycling at MCCSD

We get a big thrill out of recognizing congregants’ efforts in the greater community. There is a bin in the Social Hall by the piano marked “Recycle” for collecting plastic bottles and aluminum cans ONLY. Feel free to bring yours in from home! Funds from this recycling go to provide cards and postage for our Care Team in their efforts to reach out to those are ill, have needs or concerns or to celebrate joys.
