Part-time Worship Coordinator

The Orchard Church is searching for a part-time worship coordinator. This person will first and foremost be a passionate worshipper of the Lord with a desire to know Him more and help the church do the same. Primary responsibilities will be to lead worship on Sunday mornings, plan services and creative elements alongside the Pastors and lay team, and to coordinate and encourage worship and AV volunteers as musicians and followers of Jesus.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

Serve as Primary Worship Leader.

Speak the Scriptures and pray with confidence.

Lead from an instrument (guitar or piano)

Arrange songs and lead rehearsals with a band.

Recruit musicians and vocalists and encourage them to their full potential.

Participate in service planning with the goal of leading the body in inspiring and authentic worship.

Coordinate the worship ministry team through effective communincation and scheduling of musicians, vocalists and AV volunteers.

Understand basic sound engineering principles.

Understand current equipment standards and practices.
