Home & Hope

The Home and Hope program brings shelter, meals, and support services to families without homes. From 8:00-5:00 the families have access to Home & Hope's Day Center. The evening hours are spent at a "host" church where volunteers provide dinner and interact with the guests. Trinity hosts Home and Hope twice a year for one week. Epiphany Episcopal is a host church, Trinity supports one night during the week. (www.homeandhope.net)

You can help: Sign up to bring part of the meal on one of Trinity's or Epiphany and/or come to serve and eat with the guests, help with homework, or to spend the night. Contact Rosa Molero, 4haueru@gmail.com or Sally McClure salmcclure@gmail.com.

Redwood High School

Redwood High School is a continuation high school on the border of San Carlos and Redwood City. It serves around 500 students, 80% of whom are Hispanic, with many English language learners. Because Redwood does not have a formal Parent Teacher organization, Trinity desires to come alongside the school to help fill that role. We work with the Teen Age parenting Program, teachers and staff, seeking to serve where they have a need, including providing volunteers in the classroom, hosting special events (including Angel Tree) for the T.A.P.P. Program, providing snacks, having a teacher appreciation event, a Christmas treat for the school, helping with the prom as needed, and with financial support. We also support the Independent Study Program, which works with students who are unable to attend other high schools, in much the same way.
