Dick and Linda have four grown children and eleven grandchildren. Dick served in the USAF and was trained in aircraft maintenance. During the Viet Nam war, Dick served as a mechanic on the EC-47 aircraft. The EC-47 is the military version of the DC-3. After Viet Nam, Dick earned all of his pilot ratings. Little did he realize that 20 years later, he would be a captain on the same type of aircraft he maintained in Viet Nam. The Lord always has a plan for our lives.
Missionary Flights Interenational provides air support to 700 missionary families that serve in Haiti. After the recent earthquake in Haiti, MFI added many more flights to their schedule. Thanks to loaner and chartered aircraft, MFI has transported over a million pounds of relief supplies to Port-au-Prince. Dick and Linda have served with MFI for 26 years.
