At Peoples Church we invite you to become part of a Christian community that is helping people discover and thrive in the hope of Jesus Christ. We believe that in community you will find a place to belong and be loved by others. In community you will wrestle with what it means to become more like the Jesus we follow. And, we have found that as we work together building relationships of love and service, driven by the hope of Christ, we can have an incredible impact for good in the Pinckney/Hamburg area as well as the world! What kinds of groups do you offer?

At Peoples we offer two types of groups:

An Activity Group is interested based. It could be a short-term bible study, people getting together to play basketball, or even a group who serves at a local food pantry on a regular basis. Click here for a list of our current Activity Groups

A Life Group is a great place to make friends and build long term relationships. It is a place where you will be personally encouraged and challenged in your relationship with God and each other. Most Life Groups last 6 months to a year. Click here for a list of current Life Groups.

How often do the groups meet?

That is entirely up to the group leader. Some groups meet once a week, others meet every other week, and some are just once a month! The leader will make all group members aware of the schedule (meeting dates and times are listed on the main group page).

How do I join a group?

New Life Groups are formed in September and January. However, you can visit the Life Group page and see a listing of Life Groups who would currently welcome new members. Go to the Activity Group page for a listing of our current Activity Groups and simply contact the leader of the group to verify time and place of the group.
