Welcome to Desert Valley

Pastor Jim Brauer is the Senior Pastor of the Desert Valley Adventist Church. Prior to coming to Tucson, he served in a variety of positions, including pastor, youth director and President of both the Illinois and Rocky Mountain Conferences. Most recently he and his wife served as missionaries to the Philippines and Bangladesh.

His mission is to lift up Jesus as the ONLY answer. He and his wife, Janell, are parents to Jonathan and Jodi; their youngest son, Joel, is deceased. Pastor Jim enjoys riding his motorcycle; he and Janell ride bicycles and ATVs and love to camp in their fifth wheel. Janell is an artist and has a studio in their home.
