Location: Harding is located in Searcy, Ark., a community of almost 23,000 50 miles northeast of Little Rock and 105 miles west of Memphis, Tenn.

Student Body: 7,155 students representing all 50 states and 53 foreign countries.

Faculty: Harding employs 332 instructional faculty members, 68 percent of whom hold a Ph.D. or other terminal degree.

Type of University: Harding is a four-year, private, residential coeducational liberal arts university.

Church Affiliation: Harding is affiliated with the churches of Christ.

Majors: Harding offers 10 undergraduate degrees in more than 100 academic majors, 14 preprofessional programs, and 15 graduate and professional degrees in its colleges of Allied Health, Arts and Humanities, Bible and Ministry, Business Administration, Education, Honors, Nursing, Pharmacy and Sciences.

International Programs: Nearly 50 percent of each graduating class has spent a semester at one of Harding’s international campuses in Zambia, Africa; Brisbane, Australia; Viña del Mar, Chilé; London, England; Paris, France; Athens, Greece; or Florence, Italy.

Service: In 2010, Harding was named once again to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Last year nearly 6,500 students, faculty and staff contributed more than 89,000 hours of service.

Careers: During the year, more than 350 recruiters representing 230 organizations met with students. Recent graduates are working for such national and global companies as Dell, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Wal-Mart, Ford Motor Co., Dillard’s Inc., HCA Healthcare and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Athletics: Harding is a member of the Great American Conference, NCAA Division II.

Average Undergraduate Expenses: A typical resident student taking 15 hours per semester can meet all regular expenses of tuition, required fees, room and food services for $20,640 for the school year.

Campus: Harding’s Searcy campus has 48 buildings on 350 acres.
