Amelia Rhodes lives in Lowell, Michigan. Amelia is a contributing author to four Chicken Soup for the Soul titles, and her first book, Isn’t it Time for a Coffee Break? Doing Life Together in an All-About-Me Kind of World encourages women to deepen their friendships. She is also the creator of Pray A to Z: A Practical Guide to Praying for Your Community.

Catch up and take a breath. There’s a spot waiting for you next to the fireplace where you can cozy up for hours with a cup of coffee and your friends. Refill your cocoa mugs as often as you’d like. Savor each of our delicious meals and let us clean up. Eat homemade pie until your pants are tight and stay up past your bedtime. Allow these days away to bless your heart with large group sessions, smaller breakout sessions, quiet time for thought, and plenty of time for play.
