Get Connected
Hospitality
We have many different areas under Hospitality that you could use your help. Ultimately, we want to create a welcoming environment for both members and visitors coming to worship.
Want to get involved? Contact the Church Office.
Guest Services:
Ushers assist in providing a comfortable, smooth-running service from handing out bulletins to collecting offering
and conducting communion.
Hospitality:
Volunteers follow a pre-set schedule to provide transportation for people who would otherwise not be able to
attend a worship service. Volunteers typically drive once every four to five weeks. For more information, contact
When the need arises, volunteers are called upon to provide meals for approximately one week. To be on the call
list, contact the Church Office.
If you are in need a helping hand for a short time, please contact the Church Office.
Befriender Ministry:
In this ministry a trained lay person enters into a caring and listening relationship with someone in need. Befrienders also can deal with spiritual issues as they arise in their faith. Prayer is used when appropriate. For more information, contact Dorothy Johnson
Parish Nurse:
A parish nurse is a registered nurse who serves as an arm of the congregation's ministry to help individual's physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the context of a faith community. While parish nurses do not provide home services or invasisve procedures, they do Jesus' type of ministry, knowing physical and emotional care needs to be accompanied by spiritual care.
