Jim, a native Californian, was born in Whittier, is a graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, and received his MDiv degree from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena in 1993. While he was in seminary, his wife taught kindergarten at both Carver and Valentine Elementary Schools in San Marino. Previously Jim was the Pastor at the Granger Community Presbyterian Church in Indiana.

Pastor Conner has written about his faith:

"Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only Savior of the world. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I want every person I meet to know how much they matter to God and the awesome and amazing life He has in mind for those who would be His disciples. The Bible is the most exciting book in the world. It is the word of God written down for human beings. It crosses all economic and geographic boundaries; it transcends time and culture. I continue on as a life-long student of what it would teach me and I sit at God's feet daily as He speaks to me through its pages. The Bible tells us the story of a God in search of people for a love relationship."

Sam was raised in the Chicago area and trained for ministry at Moody Bible Institute. He previously served for 12 years in Dalton, Georgia as the Pastor of Youth and Families and began ministering at APC in 2009. Sam has a passion for helping people experience intergenerational community within the church family.

Sam is married to Evie; they met at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and have been married since 1995. Evie is one of three students who received the prestigious Dean's scholarship at Fuller Theological Seminary where she earned her Master's degree. Sam and Evie are intent on living a life devoted to Jesus Christ and His service. They exhibit a maturity in Christ that expresses itself through a contagious love for God and His people.

Andrew is a Southern California native. He is a graduate of Biola University and holds a Masters of Music from Cal State University Los Angeles. He has been involved with worship ministry from the age of 10 and now serves as our Worship Leader and Director of Student Ministires.

More than anything else, the one thing I hope to impart to people is that God, in His infinite wisdom, power, and love, is worthy of our lives and desires to intimately work in and through them in ways beyond our best imagination."

Billie Turner is a native Californian, born and raised in Covina. She has been involved in ministry since she was born. Her parents, Rev. Fred and Willie Jordan, began taking her to Skid Row when she was 5 weeks old. She began working with her parents part time after school when she was 11 and full time after high school, at the Fred Jordan Mission in downtown Los Angeles. Ten years ago she took a break from Skid Row and began working at Sonrise Christian School in Covina. She began as a teacher’s aide and moved up to director. Three years ago God moved her to Orange County Head Start. She was blessed to train and coach over 400 teachers and directors as the Education/Mental Health/Disabilities Specialist. She went back to college several years ago for Early Childhood Development and is now in a degree completion program through Vanguard University with a graduation date summer, 2014. She wanted her education to catch up to her life experience.

Billie accepted the Lord at VBS when she was 4 years old. She has loved and worked with children and their families her entire life! She has been married to her wonderful husband, Jim, who is also a PK, for almost 32 years and they have 2 miracle children and 1 amazing daughter-in-law! Billie’s husband is a pastor and also works in air conditioning/heating to provide for the family. Billie has followed Jesus her entire life and just wants God to be glorified through everything she does! Billie’s father used to say: Billie has NEVER met a stranger!

Sonja comes to us with 18 years of experience working as an administrator at Pasadena Christian School. Sonja brings a wealth of Christian life, church and management experience to the operations manager position at APC.

Cherri King is a native Californian who grew up and currently resides in the Foothills of Altadena. She is married to her wonderful husband George and has two step daughters (Elise and Adrienne) and three God Children (Alexis, Danielle and Evan).

Cherri has been a Free Lance Certified Bookkeeper and Accountant for eleven years. She has worked with multiple non-profit organizations, as well as, new and emerging small businesses.

Erin is a Southern California native, born and raised in Arcadia. She has an A.S. Degree in Business and brings over 12 years of Administrative experience with her to APC. She has a 5 year old daughter, Hadley who attended CDC for 3 years..

Melissa was born in Arcadia and attended Arcadia Presbyterian Church from the time she was born. She went through the Arcadia schools and graduated from Arcadia High School. She graduated college from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design.
