Project Vision

We believe that God is calling us to extend our branches and deepen our roots in ministry. In Ezekiel 17:23, God says that he will plant his people in the land to be like a noble cedar with branches that produce fruit and under which birds find rest in the shade. We believe God is moving us to invest in ministry by taking a large step of faith. We are praying God will use us to provide a place where people in the East Bay can come and find rest in the shade of gospel-centered ministry. The Cedars Project initiative includes budget expansion, ministry investment, and staff development.

Project Details

The SCC membership strongly affirmed the Cedars Project on Sunday, September 30, 2012, and we are excited about what lies ahead! Here's how you can get involved:

1. Please commit to pray for SCC during this time.

2. Prayerfully consider your financial support for the coming year. As was done in the first years of the church, we are encouraging people to turn in Commitment Cards for the fiscal year (Oct 2013-Sept 2014). These cards are available at our Sunday worship service.
