Painting the Story of the Gospel with Sue Goss

His Story - My Story

In the summer of 2013, God opened the door for me to attend an Evangelism Training Seminar in Boston, Ma with Open Air Campaigners.

Though I am not an artist, God placed it on my heart to learn to paint stories from the Bible to teach the children in Brazil.

However, God had a bigger plan.

After a week of intense training, having to pray for God to intervene in every way, I came away changed forever.

I have been privileged to glorify God by lifting up Jesus by painting His Story, not only for children, but for adults as well, in church services, VBS, Youth groups and Sunday School.

This ministry can be taken anywhere, to parks, street corners in cities, community centers, beaches, to foreign countries, and even your own backyard.

I have seen God use this ministry to touch the hearts of believers and unbelievers, those of different cultures and religions, and the educated and uneducated alike.

Just for starters...

IN THE PAST HOUR:

1625 children were forced to live on the streets

1667 children died from malnutrition or disease

115 children became prostitutes

257 children were orphaned because of HIV/Aids.

It gets worse...

2 billion people in the world today have never ever heard of Jesus. 1% of missions financial support, goes to reaching those unreached people. 30000 people starve to death every day.

'You are the light of the world' –– Jesus talking to his disciples.

Are we being the 'salt and light' that we are called to be?

Voice of the Martyrs

A Global Perspective on the Persecution of God's Children

The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ. His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In the 1960s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States. Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church. The Voice of the Martyrs continues in this mission around the world today through the following main purposes: Our ministry is based on Hebrews 13:3, "Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body."
