For adults in their second half of life (50+) to connect with each other through social events,
grow in faith with educational opportunities specific for second-half life dynamics, and serve

Hearts for Adoption
Finding community among women with adoptive children, or those in the process of adopting, can be important and helpful. Moms in this group come together to support, encourage, and pray for each other along the journey of building our families through adoption.

Holy Yoga
Holy Yoga is an experiential worship created to deepen people's connection to Christ. Our sole purpose is to facilitate a Christ honoring experience that offers an opportunity to believers and non-believers alike to authentically connect to God through His Word, worship, and wellness. Holy Yoga exists to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth through the modality of yoga. Like any new physical fitness class, you will need to sign a waiver when you arrive. *New* Missional Life Gathering
We are all called to bring Good News wherever we go. This is Christ’s way. These gatherings broaden our understanding of God’s heart by sharing how we serve others around us. We meet weekly in the Window Room between services to hear stories from other Open Door people, pray, and share ideas. Prayer Shawl Ministry
If you enjoy knitting or crochet, join us as we prayerfully craft these symbols of comfort and blessing. Shawls are prayed over, then given to those in need of a tangible expression of God’s love and care during seasons of loss, transition or celebration. Help is available for beginners.
Patterns are provided; bring three skeins of Lion Brand Homespun yarn and size 11 or 13 knitting needles; or four skeins yarn and size M or N crochet hook. This group meets between services on the second Sunday once per quarter. Contact: Eileen

Writers Group
Writing can feel like such a solitary venture. Meeting with other writers is a way to share encouragement, ideas and experiences. Through discussion, prayer and occasional guest speakers, we’ll learn and talk about the writing craft and brainstorm ideas. Writers of all levels of experience are welcome. Contact: Tim Olson
